The and have partnered on an exhibition now at the Lloyd entitled "Off the Page,” which brings the 300-year-old work of botanical illustrator Maria Sibylla Merian back to life. The exhibition features 3-dimensional recreations of Merian’s illustrations, using preserved plant, animal, and insect specimens.
Joining us to discuss "Off the Page" and the work of Maria Sibylla Merian are Lloyd Library & Museum Executive Director Patricia Van Skaik; and Meddling with Nature taxidermist, Jeremy Johnson.
