Cincinnati celebrates independent film this August in Over-the-Rhine. The Cindependent Film Festival returns for a second year with more than a 100 films from around the world showcasing at the Woodward Theatre. The three-day event, Aug. 29-31, also features live screenplay readings, musical performances and after-parties.
Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss the event are Founder Allyson West; and Filmakers ; and Daniel Mulvaney. Howd's silent documentary, 45 ½, is playing at noon on Saturday. Her screenplay, Texas Annie, is being read aloud as part of the live reading series. Mulvaney's film, Ignore the Clock, is playing in the Opening Night Shorts block.
