Dr. Danny Cohen Joins Us To Discuss His New Book, "Train," And His Unsilence Project

, an assistant professor of instruction at Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy and The Crown Family Center for Jewish & Israel Studies, is a learning scientist, author, and education designer. Dr. Cohen is also founder of the . His latest book, , tells the story of six teenagers, Jewish and non-Jewish, in Nazi-occupied 1943 Berlin. He joins us this afternoon, along with Alexis Storch Morrisroe, director of education for , to discuss Train and approaches to teaching about the Holocaust.

Dr. Cohen will be speaking at the on Friday, October 2, for registration information . He will also be leading a teacher workshop at The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education on Saturday, October 3, for registration information . His novel Train will be the focus of both programs.
