Laying the Foundation

Laying the Foundation
Join us on Friday, May 9 at 6 PM for the screening of part one and two of Laying the Foundations, a multimedia storytelling project spearheaded by Asa Featherstone, IV, chronicling Black shoppers' impact on Findlay Market over the years. Through honest portraits, interviews, and archives, it highlights the deep impact Black communities have had on the market—past, present, and future. This project is about visibility, truth, and reclaiming space in a city shaped by gentrification and change. After each screening, we will host a panel discussion to dive even deeper into the subject matter covered in the film.
