Dean Regas is the Outreach Astronomer for in Mt. Lookout. The observatory is home to, among other things, the oldest telescope in the United States which is still in use on a daily basis.
Dean is the host of the television program as well as the programs Milky Way Cafe and Looking Up here on WVXU.
I got to speak with Dean about the history of the observatory, how he got interested in astronomy and what is coming up in the future.
