Last week, Cincinnati Public Schools reached a $3 million settlement with the family of Gabriel Taye, the Carson Elementary School student who died by suicide in 2017 after he was bullied at school.
Taye's death made national headlines and focused attention on bullying prevention, and the settlement of the lawsuit his family brought seems likely to do the same. As part of that agreement, CPS has agreed to a raft of new bullying prevention measures.
