Schizophrenia and cognitive enhancement therapy

is a chronic, severe and disabling brain disorder which can cause agitation, hallucinations, and delusions. Because we still don't know what causes schizophrenia, antipsychotic medications and psychological treatments are used to eliminate the symptoms of the disease. Dr. Tracey Skale, chief medical officer for the ; Dr. Stacy Martz, executive director of ; and Ray Gonzalez, executive director of the , join us to discuss schizophrenia and explore one treatment for the disorder, cognitive enhancement therapy.
