The City of Cincinnati is beginning the second phase of a program to deliver .
Households that have their trash collected on Tuesdays throughout May.
The city said in a press release the neighborhoods of Bond Hill, Carthage, Hartwell, Kennedy Heights, Madisonville, North Avondale, Paddock Hills, Roselawn, and parts of Avondale, Evanston and Oakley will be receiving 65-gallon carts this month.
So far the city has already delivered nearly 18,000 carts. .
During June, residents with Wednesday trash collection will be getting new carts. Thursday collection will be distributed in July and those with Friday pick-up will be getting new containers in August.
, and residents are asked to try it for two weeks before requesting to swap for another size.
The carts have wheels and an attached lid. They also have a metal lift bar, which allows the city to move to semi-automated trash collection.
