Cincinnati is gearing up for a major blitz in about two weeks to fix the growing number of potholes in the city.
Traffic and road operation superintendent Jarrod Bolden says all resources from public works will be focused on the issue starting March 3rd. He spoke to a city council committee Wednesday.
“During the blitz we’ll increase our number of crews to address pothole requests throughout the city of Cincinnati,” Bolden said. “During the blitz we rely on citizens as well as the city of Cincinnati employees to help be our eyes out in the community and identify where those potholes are and get those requests to us.”
Residents can report potholes by calling the city at 591-6000. .
The Ohio Department of Transportation and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet workers have also been busy repairing potholes on state routes and interstates.
