The Wilmington police department says Karson is alive and well. The K-9 unit was found at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at Starbuck and Sabina Rds in the northeastern part of Clinton County. Police had been searching for Karson for 61 days. The dog's handler was on vacation December 23, 2014 when Karson escaped from a boarding shelter in Wilmington.
