The organization charged with developing Northern Kentucky's strategic plan is laying out its goals for the next five years.
chairman AJ Schaeffer says the new goals build on the same principles the group has always worked toward. "The myNKY goals will be a further focusing and discernment of those initiatives in the areas of education, health and wellness, the competitiveness of our economy, and our readiness to put people to work and attract innovative companies that will propel us forward."
The organization is also launching a new brand. It will now be known as .
"It, I think, speaks well to both the substance of our aspirations and what we are likely to do in the coming years," says Schaeffer. "That is, to achieve greater heights that this community has not seen before."
