"Instead of just having the facade of Music Hall to project onto, the architecture of the Taft will really provide a great canvas to go along with the great music," she says.
Rather than projecting image mapping onto Music Hall, this year has designed visuals to project onto a screen behind the orchestra as well as on the proscenium and box seats flanking the stage.
There are ten performances of the 45 minute show at the Taft Theatre.
A block party will be set up outside on Fifth St.
WVXU sister station the first performance live Friday evening. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 8:05 p.m..
