Rounding out the top five in Ohio are Ava, Olivia, Harper and Charlotte for girls, and Carter, Noah, William and Lucas for boys.
Emma was also the top girl name in Kentucky and Indiana.
In Kentucky, Ava, Olivia, Harper and Isabella make up the top five. William takes the top boy slot followed by Elijah, Noah, Liam and James.
Following Emma in Indiana are Olivia, Amelia, Charlotte and Harper, and Oliver, Liam, Elijah, Noah and William.
The name Emma is the clear favorite so far for girls. Noah tops the boy list from 2010-2017.
