Hamilton County's Engineer says the county is ready for Saturday's expected snowfall. Ted Hubbard says there's plenty of road salt on hand."Our domes are full," Hubbard told Hamilton County commissioners when asked during Thursday's board meeting. "We have 11 domes across Hamilton County, and we share some of those domes with other communities. That allows us to be able to have our trucks loaded so we can strike."
Hubbard says the county may do some pretreating Friday if it's deemed necessary. "But sometimes you'll pretreat and it will rain and then you've lost all your salt, which, obviously, is not a good thing."
The is possible Saturday.
