The star of NBC鈥檚 鈥淟ate Night With Seth Meyers鈥� brings his stand-up act to Miami University鈥檚 Parents Weekend in Oxford on Oct. 17.
He debuted on 鈥淟ate Night鈥� Feb. 24, when Jimmy Fallon took over 鈥淭he Tonight Show鈥� from Jay Leno.
Meyers is the second NBC late-night star to perform at Miami. Leno appeared multiple times. The university has a connection with NBC stars through Rick Ludwin, a 1970 graduate and generous benefactor who was NBC鈥檚 vice president over late-night programs, 鈥淪NL鈥� and specials.
Before 鈥淟ate Night,鈥� Meyers was a 鈥淪aturday Night Live鈥� cast member for 13 years (2001-14) 鈥� nine as head writer and eight as 鈥淲eekend Update鈥� anchor.
